Squares

The square has always attracted me. The square and it’s three dimensional version, the cube, one of my favourite doodles. These pieces in velvet and wool were the first works where I developed the idea of the square. I would often go back to the square not just as image but also as a support. I think that my attraction for tiles comes from their square shape.
