In Roger’s Path

When I was at the Ar.Co Art School my colleague Roger Paulino started doing linocuts, juxtaposing different pieces of linoleum. This method allows a diversification of colours and creates very curious images.
When I told him that the process he had found was very interesting, he humbly replied that it was not his creation but it was a technique used in the Far East since ancient times.
Later in a Workshop with Francisca Carvalho we would explore this methodology.
That’s when I did these linocuts.
